Jeff Marano: I Flew to Salvador da Bahia, Brazil back in march of 1996 with an architect who posed for me and realized that is what i wanted to do. It was onto Milan in june of the same year where i´d spent many years modelling on the circuit and where i began to hone my style years later.Thanks to famed dutch photographer Jos Borsboom "the one" who suggested i only shoot black and white that first 1996 Milan summer! After all those portrait and body shoots where i managed to do the hair, makeup and direction for all the men models , i finally found my classic style. Bruce Weber and Ken Haak were quite a force. Herb Ritts was the inspiration ever since working with him on my first fashion catalogue for Filene´s. My work has been published in "GQ" Italy and Portugal. "Cosmopolitan" Germany and "Mens Health en espanol" editions. My books "Eros" and smaller edition were published by TeNeues publishing and first calendar "MASCULINE" as well which is due out this fall globally. I hope you all enjoy my "Daylight Photography" and that i can continue to deliver beautiful images with my 35mm and Medium Format Film Cameras. Thank you for visiting!!! ABIERTO!! Ciao Jeff
